Making captive rings is a really neat turning trick, that is not terribly hard to do.....with the right tool. This is definitely the right tool, plus, with the interchangeable tips, you can do 4 sizes of rings at a much lower cost than the dedicated size tools. Set Includes: Ring Tool, and cutting tips for doing 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" diameter rings, plus an instruction sheet. Has a 10" long ash handle. Overall length of the tool is approximately 18".
