This is gift-worthy - can send directly with confidence.The color I ordered appears more like the Carhartt tan coats (on the brownish side) than tan or medium khaki. The fabric is stiff as expected for this waxed heavy duty belt. The sewing and rivets along the “apron” front seem strong. The “belt” part is adjustable with a snap closure. On my body, the apron wraps completely from side to side - good and bad depending upon how the apron is loaded with tools and how one prefers to reach for those tools. A larger framed person will likely have the apron be completely across their front. A narrow waisted person may have the extra belt not held in by the belt keeper, so you can end up with a “tail” which could be a safety concern. See pics with ruler to factor in max and min waist measurements.My purpose is to have this belt loaded up to grab and go for use on a ladder. I have many tools set up in duplicate quick carry bins - one on each floor, garage etc - so I don’t have to go up and down the stairs hunting around for them. I do have to rethink what I am more likely to use when I go on a ladder since I may need to limit or load up this belt each time instead of keeping another duplicate set. With only 2 loops, I had to load most of my tools in the pocket sections.This belt can get heavy (or not) with too many long-handled tools for instance. Also when removing, it’s almost better to empty the belt since simply unclipping it can cause it to drop down, spill contents, or slam into things if it is still loaded up and you don’t firmly grasp both ends.I hope this helps in your consideration of this product.
