I used to have a tool like this back in the day for using with dielectric grease and silicone. It worked so slick and made using these types of materials a breeze. When I found this one, I had to get it and have one again for all the stuff I use that is in tubes. This one works very similar and does really well, but tends to jam up sometimes and it can affect the flow of whatever you are trying to apply. Not enough that it’s frustrating, but you do have to let go of the handle and wiggle it a slight bit to reset it properly to the tube. I don’t remember my first one having this issue, but it is possible with a tool like this because it uses no gears or anything and relies solely on the way it is holding the tube. If it isn’t advanced enough, it can cause the trigger to bind and slip a little. But it really is nothing too annoying if you realize how these handles work.All in all, it is a very cost-effective tool that really keeps the use of tube chemicals clean and tidy. They are really good at making sure all the material is out where it is squeezing. It is comfortable in the hand and seems well built for the minimalist approach needed for the application.
